Josh Ertz, Owner, was born and raised in Orange County with four brothers and a general contractor father. After watching his Father create a ground-up business in construction, Josh decided to follow in his footsteps after attending college in Arizona. After years of working in the family industry, Josh decided to branch out onto his own and form 949 Builders, a company specializing in Major Residential Construction in Orange County. After a long career in sports and coaching at the youth level, owner Josh Ertz has found his coaching home at alma mater Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo. Josh is featured as the Girl’s Softball Program Strength and Conditioning Offseason Coordinator, as well as the Junior Varsity Head Coach, leading the JV team to the first winning season in over a decade in 2019.

Through watching his Father Josh was able to understand and master the field aspect of construction at an early age, and was always intrigued to know more about the back end.
